The Story Revealed

Formerly known as "Life can always be Enjoyable" Gods Promises Anew stems from a book that I've been working on about how one can enjoy life even in the midst of the storms that come our way....

Devotional reading will be posted when time permits in the hopes that they will be read and help those who read it...

I am really excited to see where this will lead in the coming years. So keep looking back here on on this blog and see just where God will take this new avenue ...

An Inspiring Tale

I just read this interesting story from an e-mail about an 13 year old girl who is like a singing prodigy in the vocal department, I believe her name was Anna Margaret, anyone hear of her before. It was a really inspiring story, due to her young age no one wanted to listen to her uncanny ability to sing a note or two and when they did they tried to force her to act instead of sing, she went through Hurricane Katrina and lost everything, and slowly things have beginning to look up for her. After going through like 7 Managers she was in her home with her family singing to a ma,n who unbeknown to her and her family was the producer for Yolanda Adams, feeling lead to sing her hit "Open My Heart" the producer was left in tears and every since he's been her manager. Now apparently shes got 1 record out and another on the way. What an amazing tale of over coming everything around you that's holding you back and amounting to New Heights...

After reading that story I have been inspired, and I'm sure I'll be writing a few more songs in the coming days, ones already on its way, I'm titling it "The Calm before the Storm" look for the lyrics in a couple of weeks or so...

In other news, I'm really loving this long weekend that we got, I'm getting caught up on a whole lot of HW and personal devotional time with my LORD. While your all enjoying this wonderful weather, take time to thank the LORD for all he's done for us, and read a chapter or two in you Bibles, who knows maybe you to will be inspired by something...

Beauty and the Snow

It seems as though we are being blessed with limited Ice, at least for now, LOL
I'm looking forward to a day of simple snow and happiness. However I am a little concerned about my little sister who is stuck in Shawnee. I haven't heard much from the weather guys about Shawnee so I'm going to assume she doing fine, at least for now...

The last few days the whole state of Oklahoma has been totally freaking out, I was in Wal-mart getting some stuff for this weekend and the shelves were almost empty, I couldn't believe it. The place was packed with a ton of people and the parking lot was almost completely full...

As for now, I'm simply going to sit at home in front of the lighted fire place watching the telli, and going to bed after a while, and dream of the beauty of the snow that will be all over the place 2morrow...

Interesting Day huh...

I was going to post last night, but I got side tracked with a ton of home work, figures huh, LOL...

It has been an interesting past few days, the weather is suppose to be pretty bad and I'm totally not liking that, maybe I can get a way with simply staying home when it comes, LOL. It seems as though its just about as bad as the Christmas eve storm that lasted until after new years....

What ever the case, I had a pretty great day, I loved having a happiful approach to the world today, I usually do but yesterday and today it payed off, I got to talk to my older brother who lives in England, and eat out with a very good friend as well. I got a ton of home taken care of to catch me up in all my classes today as well as cooking dinner...

It was a pretty good day, I was bored at one point but home work soon rectified that, LOL...

Some Sort of Weekend

So I didn't post a blog every day of the week, but I still posted at least 2-3 times.

N/E ways, this weekend was so long, and I am very sleepy this evening, but all is well. I had a pretty great time playing at camp this past weekend. I got to share the story of why my FB status always has "& life is still fully enjoyable" it was not an easy task but I needed to do it. God wanted me to, not sure why but I does, and I've got some sort of Idea at least, :-) LOL...

When my little sister and I got home we watched a show we thought came on while we were gone but it came on again. We watched both "Wizards of Waverly Place, Alex charms a boy" and "Wizards vs Werewolf's." (YES, I AM A DISNEY CHANNEL FAN; SO JUST DEAL WITH IT, LOL) let me tell you though we were not very impressed with the whole ordeal, we have loved every episode until those. The plot was really great and the episode had really great flow but we couldn't believe the ending, man was it totally unexpected and we thought it should have ended better, but it make you wonder what's the next step for "Wizards of Waverly Place." It will be interesting to see what comes of this, there are so many possibilities...

N/E ways, I hope everyone, if anyone does, who reads this had a blessed and safe weekend, I'm exhausted but it is a good exhausted. I look fwd. to seeing what this week has in store for me and for you...

Next thing New

Yesterday I got to do something that I had never really done before, well at least I don't remember doing it. I got to play with power tools @ school of all places, who would have thought :-). It was interesting to learn all the different helpful hints that you need to know so everything works out and stuff. I can't wait for my next Lab my prof says we will be playing with power tools all semester, who knows I might find another hobby out of this class, LOL...

On some what of a Sad note, I found out today that my car still has somethings that need to be done to it before I can drive it, It's got a leaky radiator and a wholly air conditioner compressor coil, who would have thought? I know that there is a reason for everything but come on can a fellow get a break every once in a while, it sure is a test of faith for me to keep my head up, but then I think to my self, things could be a whole lot worse, I had 1 of 3 choices run into a telephone pole and get crushed, slide into the creek and end up in the HP, or hit the bridge siding and protect my self. choosing the latter of three evils seems the right choice...

There are people out there right now in the midst of a bigger storm than I and feel as though they are lost, life has its ups and downs but you know I always have someone that is guiding my every step and keeping out of harms way. I know things will work out for me in the end but others don't have that luxury, well at least they don't know they do...

I keep my head up in my king and my joy because he knows my name and knows my needs and will always take care of me, he will always remain near to me in every circumstance....

Memories of Things Past

Today was a very important day in my families lives, it was the one year anniversary of m y mothers passing, and it wasn't as hard a day as I thought it would be. I thought about her a whole lot but they were all wonderful and happy memories...

We used to go on walks just after the rains came and went in the park down from our house, and in memory of her today as the rains have come and gone I went on one of those walks, she was with me every passing moment, and we talked about wonderful and happy times, of course tears came but they weren't tears of sadness as much as they were tears of JOY :-)....

My mother means the world to me and she will always be with be holding on and guiding my steps in the way that they should be going. I will continue to take walks with her as the rains come and go and she will always be with me as she always has been...

I remain a JOYFUL soul and continue to praise my GOD as those days come and go...

My Atlanta Experience Pt 2

During the conference we talked about all kinds of important work stuff, the theme for the week was Discipleship and Holiness, I enjoyed it very much. I got to meet some new friends and learned a whole lot about my Job and got some really cool Ideas for the future of my church. Going to trade on numerous occasions I was able to find my uniform shirt that is normally $58.00 for $5.00 so I bought two :-). We also visited "World of Coke" and I really enjoyed it, even experiencing the very disgusting Beverly Flavor of Soda from Italy...

After the conference we all took the supposed 18 hour drive back home, we however only drove 13 hours. It was a very long ride, and the country side was absolutely bEAUtiful . I loved seeing it all and the really interesting part was the Read Roads, they drove so smoothly. :-). We finally got home around 1am on Saturday...

I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Atlanta, I was shown some very cool stuff and will remember it for years to come. Thanks you Lord for giving me this Chance...

Blessings & Shalom,

My Atlanta Experience Part 1

Lets start from the very beginning...

Leaving my house on Monday evening I stayed at my pastor house and left around Align Center3am on Tuesday. The plane was taking off at 6am, it was so very early, I was very sleepy, LOL. Once at the Airport, everyone boarded the plane and we took off. taking 2 different planes it was a very bumpy ride, I was very uncomfortable on each one. However I arrived safe and sound at the Atlanta Airport, getting the luggage and about to go get a shuttle to the Hotel, a man that I thought to be very nice turned out to be according to my boss simply taking advantage of me and my companions, it was pretty interesting...

In Atlanta my Boss took us sight seeing and I took a ton of pictures, probably more than I should have, :-). We also ate at this place called The Atlanta Diner, the food was very fantastical and I enjoyed it very much. On the way back to the Hotel we stopped @ Trade which is where the Army gets all their uniforms & stuff, then we went to the Hotel and slept all night. But when I got to my room it was an Iceberg, 6o degrees F, so the Hotel moved me to another room. Oh and I also watch Blind Side and Ate @ Applebees for the very first time :-)...

New Year New Commitments

Well, I have always loved writing so I am going to attempt something that I have never attempted before. I am going to attempt to begin Blogging at least 2-3 times weekly. I see this as a challenge and a quest of my own strangeness...

I have always felt like I needed to do something like this and as long as I have a computer that works I will try my best to accomplish my quest, I would like to invite all of my friends to take this journey with me, and help hold me accountable to this Commitment. It won't be easy because I get side tracked very easily but with the support of you all my friends I know I can accomplish it...

God has laid it upon my heart to do this and who am I to say no to him? in light of this I will be posting 2morrow night a blog about my Atlanta Experience, don't let me forget...

For Now let me just say that Life gives us all sorts of things that we have to deal with , and learning that I pray that this little quest takes us all in a new and wonderful way of life, I pray that this Blog and my examples will encourage all who read it, I pray that I can remain faithful to this now that I have posted it all over the web, LOL...

This will be an experience for me and I hope that this time next year it will be a part of my daily life and serve as a tool for all to use. May God bless and keep you all in this new year...

Blessings & Shalom,

M.E.
